I am a member of the Canadian military and this has been my smoothest move since joining 18 years ago. Mike and his team were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. With COVID limitations in place, Mike facilitated viewings on short notice and provided great advice and suggestions. He was available to answer questions throughout all hours of the day/evening and made our interactions personable. When dealing with the other parties involved, Mike made the entire process transparent to us, which put our minds at ease knowing we were being taken care of. It was a good feeling to know he had our interests in mind and genuinely cared about our wishes. Looking for our first house during the early days of a pandemic was daunting, but Mike's well-rounded knowledge of the real estate market and his clear-eyed approach made us feel secure during the process. He knows a lot about houses and has an eagle eye for detail. He answered all my questions about the viability of renovating different spaces and offered good advice about the value of houses versus the land under them.

What I didn't expect was how much a real estate agent like Mike ends up being a psychoanalyst. We had ideas about the neighbourhoods we wanted to live in, but Mike asked us to look outside our preconceived notions. He worked with us to figure out if what we thought we wanted fit the logistics of our actual lives. Buying a house is an emotionally complex experience; Mike had excellent bedside manner when it was challenging and he celebrated with us when it was going well.

He went WAY above and beyond to help me look at and find houses. I was a first time home buyer with a million questions, Michael was always available to answer my questions and to provide me sound advice and educated answers.
